We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our bike shop team as a Customer Service Representative with Marketing Experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bicycles, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in marketing. Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all bike shop visitors, both in person and over the phone.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products and services based on their needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of bikes, accessories, and related services to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and managing inventory systems.
  • Utilize marketing skills to promote bike shop products and services through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and in-store promotions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of special events, such as bike rides, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and technologies to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims promptly and professionally, striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on basic bike maintenance and repairs.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by working closely with colleagues and sharing knowledge and insights.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Proven track record in marketing, including experience with social media management, email marketing, and promotional campaigns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and build lasting relationships.
  • Proficiency in using iOS systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Passion for bicycles and knowledge of different bike types, accessories, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in marketing or related field is a plus.
