Position Overview:
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking a Manager, Membership Operations. This position will work in a collaborative membership operations team environment and is responsible for managing inbound and outbound leads for the revenue programs at the NAM. The ideal candidate will work with key stakeholders to manage research distribution, communication, and follow-up reporting of in-bound and out-bound revenue leads. Oversight of the leads program is critical in connecting prospected members to the programs and resources in a timely manner.

This position will provide a candidate with revenue operations experience from high growth, high velocity sales organizations with the opportunity to expand an existing leads management program. The NAM is looking for a candidate who is passionate about learning new skill sets and to grow within the organization. Program Development and Management

  • Responsible for the management and growth of existing inbound and outbound revenue leads program.
  • Serve as a liaison to program stakeholders, including frontline revenue teams, program management and organizational leadership, to coordinate verification, distribution and timely follow-up of member and prospective member interest.
  • Develop specific process for each revenue program to align with sales process to ensure consistency, equitability, and scalability.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions, including program integration into Salesforce.com.
  • Train stakeholders on the leads program and set expectations.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and high-level customer support.
Verification and Triage of all Leads

  • Manage sources of all incoming leads from a variety of different sources.
  • Responsible for the process of equitably triaging leads to appropriate stakeholders for follow-up.
  • Identify new opportunities for lead-generation activities to drive revenue growth and member engagement.
  • Perform analysis of targeted lists to determine the viability of engagement in recruitment, retention, or advocacy efforts.
Reporting and Analytics

  • Manage the status of leads, and coordinate with stakeholders to confirm pipeline status.
  • Send weekly reports to all stakeholders and create monthly, quarterly, and yearly results.
  • Meet with program leads to share results of lead program outcomes.
  • Provide recommendations to key stakeholders on program advancement and oversee implementation of approved priorities.

We are looking for Team Players who meet the Following Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing, research methods, or political science); or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in revenue operations or with revenue teams;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for precision;
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects and works well in a rapid response environment;
  • Strong project and time management skills;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: verbal, phone, and email;
  • Motivated by a collaborative team environment;
  • Energized by a quality-focused, goal-oriented and deadline-driven environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel a plus;
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus;
  • Requires a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
