Responsibilities

Job Summary

• 
  All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization.
• The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner. Assists nursing staff by locating equipment placing patients into vehicles obtaining charts transporting specimens to lab and stat.
• Transports patients throughout Hospital campus via wheelchairs and gurneys.
• Assists in delivery systems throughout the Hospital in the support of overall productivity and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

Experience Education Licensure & Special Skills

• 
  Previous experience as an Environmental Aide or Transporter preferably in an acute care setting.
• BLS-CPR; FIRESAFETY- (Must obtain Fire Safety within 90 days of hire)
  
• Knowledge of patient transfers from wheelchairs gurneys beds and back. Accurate communication skills.

Pay Range
$18.26 - $23.30 /hour
