The Legal receptionist is the "face of the firm" because they are the first impression someone will have of us when they call us! The responsibilities include conducting intakes, scheduling appointments, and performing various other administrative tasks.

We are a warm, friendly, family-focused law firm who is looking for an individual who is equally as warm, friendy, and family-focused/team player who is going to be our versatile legal receptionist. :) In this role, you will be answering calls and taking care of all of our potential clients and existing clients with warmth and professionalism.

As our legal receptionist, your duties include (but are not limited to) doing intakes, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and updating various electronic firm management systems. You are also going to be responsible for other administrative tasks to support clients and the rest of the team.

To ensure success as a legal receptionist at our firm, technology should come as second nature to you, you should exhibit extremely excellent communication skills and competency in general office administration.

You will be the "voice" of the firm - the first person one speaks with when they reach out to us!! An outstanding legal receptionist is someone who makes an impactful positive first impression.

Legal Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming potential clients and existing clients when they call with enthusiasm and kindness.
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional and kind manner.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Updating digital firm databases in a timely and efficient manner
  • Staying in close contact with all team members to properly support them and clients.
  • Observing business etiquette, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Monitoring general firm inbox and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with copying, scanning, and printing when needed.


Legal Receptionist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Loves technology and embraces it with getting work done quickly and efficiently. (excited to learn new systems)
  • Background/Prior experience in office administration, secretarial work, or related training is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.


Salary

$15 - $18 per hour
